ZAGREB, Dec 10 (Hina) - Croatian church representatives on
Wednesday held a meeting in Zagreb, on an initiative of the National
Committee for the restoration of inter-ethnic trust.
It was concluded that the churches would follow the teachings of the
gospels in working together at reconciliation and healing
emotional wounds caused by war sufferings.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Catholic church,
the Serb orthodox church in Croatia, the Alliance of Baptist
Churches in Croatia, and the Evangelical church.
National Committee member MP Jakab Sandor, who chaired the meeting,
assessed the meeting as successful and believed cooperation would
continue in January.
