SIBENIK, Dec 8 (Hina) - Hungarian Ambassador to Croatia Zsolt G.
Szalay on Monday visited the south Croatian port of Sibenik where he
held talks with local leaders on possibilities of establishing
economic cooperation between Hungary and the Sibenik County.
There were big possibilities for cooperation, Szalay told
reporters after the meeting.
He said Hungary was interested in signing an agreement on free trade
with Croatia, Hungarian entrepreneurs wanted to participate in the
privatization of Croatian companies, and there was interest for
cooperation in tourism, economy, and transport.
Hungary was interested in Croatia's ports, Ambassador Szalay
said.
A Hungarian consulate would soon be opened in the port of Split, he
said, adding it should enhance the establishing of deeper ties with
Croatia.
