ZAGREB, Nov 28 (Hina) - The Office of the Prosecutor of the Hague-
based International Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia has
decided to amend the text of the indictment against four Serbs
accused of committing crimes against civilians in Croatia, the
tribunal said in a statement on Friday.
"In order to further clarify information previously set forth", the
tribunal approved amendment of the indictments against Mile
Mrksic, Miroslav Radic, Veselin Sljivancanin and Slavko
Dokmanovic.
The amendments relate to the number of the victims of the mass
killing at Ovcara ("approximately 260 captive non-Serb men" was
changed to "approximately 200 Croatia and other non-Serb
persons"), the identification of the military unit to which Mrksic,
Radic and Sljivancanin were assigned ("the First Guards Motorised
Brigade" instead of "the Guards Brigade"), and the role, rank,
status and whereabouts of the accused.
The indictment against Hazim Delic was also amended. The Prosecutor
dismissed two counts referring to causing great suffering or
serious injury to Miroslav Bozic, "because the relevant witness has
refused to testify".
