ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - The Serb National Congress Initiative
(ISNK) on Tuesday presented the first official Web pages of the Serb
community in Croatia.
"This is not a Serb project in Croatia, but an Internet project with
which we want to contribute to the establishment of inter-ethnic
trust and a civil society," Croatian Parliament member, Veselin
Pejnovic, said at the presentation.
The pages include the life and work of Nikola Tesla, the facsimile
of the draft amendments to the Croatian Constitution as proposed by
Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, and a list of all Croatian and
Yugoslav government institutions.
Pejnovic told reporters he had offered the Yugoslav embassy to use
the Web pages for consular duties, and had informed the Yugoslav
President and Foreign Minister about the Internet pages, but
received no answer.
The presentation of the ISNK pages began with a minute of silence
for "all innocent victims of these evil events, notwithstanding
their nationality," Pejnovic said.
