ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - Croatian President's special envoy for
relations with the Bosnian Federation and Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Franjo Greguric, told Croatian Television on Friday evening that
the initial Bosniac criticisms against the Croatian Draft
Agreement on Special Relations with the Bosnian-Federation were
mellowing, adding that the Bosniacs were now attempting to "view
the Croatian initiative with good faith".
Greguric stressed that the draft agreement was not directed against
Bosniacs and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and all who thought so were
wrong.
"This is primarily a chance to cooperate with the Bosnian
Federation, and then, after the situation in the Serb entity are
resolved, with Republika Srpska, which can only strengthen Bosnia-
Herzegovina," Greguric said, adding that the "Croatian initiative
should not be dismissed by anyone".
"The contents of proposals of the chairman of the Bosnia-
Herzegovina Presidency, Alija Izetbegovic, in his private letter
to President Tudjman is a completely diluted form of cooperation
between the Bosnian Federation and Croatia and between Bosnia-
Herzegovina and Croatia. I believe that it does not contribute to
the promotion of either economic or political relations," Greguric
said.
