CROATIAN SCIENTIST BECOMES MEMBER OF AMERICAN ACADEMY ( Editorial: --> 7552 )

( Editorial: --> 7552 ) ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - Marko Pecina, the head of the Orthopaedics Department of the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb, has become a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Academy notified him by letter recently. Established over 100 years ago, the Academy's statute only recently allowed non-U.S. experts to become members. Pecina published several books and scientific works.
