ZAGREB, Oct 27 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Monday
received the former Austrian Foreign Minister, Alois Mock, the
President's Office said in a statement.
Mock expressed satisfaction with the stable democratic order and
economic situation in Croatia.
He also voiced dissatisfaction with the fact that Croatia was
subject to double standards, and described such action as old forms
of imperialism towards small countries.
Regarding the situation in modern Europe and the world, Mock
stressed that he had learnt a lot about understanding problems, the
development of the European idea, Austro-Slavism and Pan-Slavism
from Tudjman's book.
It its politics, Croatia took into consideration European and
global problems, so it did not need to be pressured, but cooperated
with, Tudjman said.
Present at the talks were also Croatian President's Chief-of-Staff
Hrvoje Sarinic and Tudjman's advisor for foreign affairs, Neven
Madey.
