ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic on
Monday handed Croatian Morning Star decorations to eminent Croatian
artists and cultural figures whom the Croatian President decorated
for special contributions in culture.
Biskupic handed the decoration, which carries the image of
15th century Croatian writer Marko Marulic, to the former culture
counsel at the French Embassy in Croatia, Jean-Pierre Bouzigues, as
well.
"Giving you these high decorations for your exceptional
contribution to Croatian culture, I want to remind you of numerous
foreign cultural figures who, while staying in Croatia, were capable
of recognizing our virtues and the desire for the confirmation and
equal participation in world cultural trends, while simultaneously
doing their best to present the cultures of their countries in
Croatia," Minister Biskupic said.
