ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian government,
employers and trade unions discussed draft bills on old-age pension
insurance and public rallies and peaceful protests on Wednesday's
session of the economic and social council (GSV).
They decided to set up an expert group consisting of two
representatives from each social partner. The task of the group is
to gather objections and remarks on the draft bills.
The group should do the job by September 24 when the pension
insurance bill is due to be considered at Parliament.
Unionists informed social partners of the establishment of the
Croatian trade unions' bloc on September 15 that comprises all
unions' federations and four labour unions.
