ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Hina) - All six federations of Croatian trade
unions and four other unions established the Croatian trade unions'
bloc or HSB on 15 September.
The bloc would try to prevent adoption of some laws if trade
unions' stands did not be taken into consideration, unionists said
at a news conference on Wednesday.
The bloc was established as a result of the dissatisfaction of
unionists with a draft bill on old-pension insurance, with a draft
bill on public rallies and peaceful protests and with announcement
of imposition of the value added tax (V.A.T.), they told reporters
in Zagreb.
HSB representatives said that on 19 September they would agree
on further concrete steps like a mass rally against the bill on
rallies and peaceful protests.
