VUKOVAR, Sept 15 (Hina) - The UNTAES Civilian Police opened a
special telephone line on Monday so that residents of the
Croatian Danube region could comment on the work of the
Transitional Police Force.
People will be able to address their comments on 032/41-347
(ext. 6099) from 9.30 to 12.30 hours on weekdays, according to a
statement from the UNTAES public relations office.
UNTAES appealed to citizens to be as precise as possible in
presenting their grievances, stressing that they will be informed
about steps that have been taken.
The line was set up as part of a programme to determine the
performance of the Transitional Police Force.
