MEMORANDUM

SARAJEVO, Sept 12 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Council of Ministers
signed a memorandum on civilian air traffic on Friday.
The document was signed at a Council session in Sarajevo which
was attended by NATO Secretary General Javier Solana and NATO's
Europe Commander General Wesley Clark.
The memorandum envisages establishment of a single air control
system and civilian control of airports at Mostar, Tuzla and Banja Luka,
which have so far been under NATO supervision.
Solana expressed satisfaction with the signing of the memorandum.
He said that his arrival in Sarajevo represented clear support to the election
process.
Solana said that NATO-led peacekeeping troops would guarantee full
safety and would not allow any violence or incidents to break out on election
days.
