ZAGREB, Sept 10 (Hina) - The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal
Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Louise Arbour, arrived
with associates in Zagreb on Wednesday, a Croatian Television evening
news broadcast said.
At 18.00 hours she began a meeting with the defense of indited
Bosnian Croats from Vitez to discuss a benevolent turnover of the accused
to The Hague.
The indited Bosnian Croats from Vitez forwarded through their
defense a letter to The Hague tribunal claiming they were willing to go to
The Hague on condition they receive a written guarantee that their trial
would begin within three months and be prompt.
