SARAJEVO/PALE, Sept 9 (Hina) - The Bosnian Serb hard-line leadership
have reiterated their call to its supporters to march on Banja Luka, the seat
of Biljana Plavsic who is the Bosnian Serb entity's president.
The Pale radio has been broadcasting a proclamation of the Serb
Democratic Party (SDS) led by Karadzic supporters which calls on the
Bosnian Serb entity's residents to march on Banja Luka and "liberate
politicians blocked in the Bosna Hotel."
The proclamation was signed by the SDS acting president, Aleksa
Buha, who replaced Radovan Karadzic when he had to resign after the
Hague Tribunal indicted him for war crimes.
The SDS statement claims that the police force loyal to Plavsic who
used to be Karadzic's close associate and recently turned his rival, virtually
have been keeping Pale politicians, including Momcilo Krajisnik, the Serb
member of the Bosnian collective Presidency, in custody since Monday
night.
SDS leaders have called on everybody who travelled toward Banja
Luka on Monday but were stopped by NATO-led SFOR, to try again on
Tuesday to enter Banja Luka and "liberate legal and legitimate top
authorities in the Republic of Srprska."
The Pale radio on Tuesday evening said that Krajisnik and his
entourage were offered to leave the Bosna Hotel in the northwestern
Bosnian city but that they had refused until the Pale premier Klickovic was
allowed to leave the hotel as well.
