CONFERENCE OF YOUNG EUROPEAN WRITERS BEGINS IN KRK

KRK, Aug 26 (Hina) - Croatian Homo Volans magazine organized a conference of young European writers called Pontes 97, which began in Krk, on the island of the same name, on Tuesday. The conference will gather some 50 writers and literary critics from 13 European countries who are to discuss the relations between the mainstream and the marginal in literature. The conference will include theatrical performances, prose and poetry readings, concerts, video-screenings. Pontes 97 will last until 31 August. (hina) ha 261154 MET aug 97
