ZAGREB, Aug 5 (Hina) - Croatian president Franjo Tudjman on Tuesday
received Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa, at the latter's request,
the Croatian President's Office said in a statement.
On occasion of President Tudjman's beginning his new term of
office, Premier Matesa put the mandate of premier and government at
the President's disposal.
According to the statement, President Tudjman said there was
no reason for that, since the premier and the government had the
President's complete trust.
