SARAJEVO, July 8 (Hina) - Heads of international organisations in
Bosnia-Herzegovina, have sent a letter to Bosnian Serb entity's
President, Biljana Plavsic, saying that they accept completely her
decisions on dissolution of the Serb assembly.
The letter was signed by the top international peace administrator
in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Carlos Westendorp, Stabilisation Force (SFOR)
commander, General Crouch, the OSCE mission's head, Robert Frowick, and
UN Secretary-General's special envoy, Kai Eide.
They have also demanded from Plavsic to respect the Dayton
agreement.
In the letter, they request that the Serb entity begin immediately
re-organistation of police.
A UN spokesman in Sarajevo, Alexander Ivanko, said on Tuesday that
a huge amount of not reported arms and ammunition had been found in a
base of special police in Serb-controlled Brcko during the check of the
base on Monday.
Last night, a Serb member of Bosnia's collective presidency,
Momcilo Krajisnik, severely criticised on Pale television international
community's representatives for their interference with "internal
affairs" of the Republic of Srpska.
Bosnian Serb (Pale) television and radio have made it impossible
that public appearances of Ms. Plavsic be broadcast. Pieces of
information from Banja Luka, where Plavsic's seat is, are released in
censored forms.
A spokesman for Westendorp's office, Simon Haselock, announced that
Krajisnik's appearance on TV last night would be analysed and certain
measures taken in this regard.
