VIENNA, June 19 (Hina) - Croatian Interior Minister Ivan Penic said at
the end of a three-day visit to Vienna on Thursday that his visit was
important for the promotion of overall cooperation between the Croatian
and Austrian interior ministries and for the strengthening of friendly
relations between the two countries.
Penic signed an agreement on the handing over of persons on
borders, and met Austrian Interior Ministry officials for talks on the
prevention of organised crime, drug abuse and money laundering.
Also signed were an agreement on cooperation between the Croatian
and Austrian associations of employers and an agreement on cultural
cooperation.
