VIENNA, June 18 (Hina) - The Austrian Industrialists Association and the
Croatian Employers Association on Wednesday signed an agreement on
cooperation.
The agreement was signed by the president and head manager of the
Austrian Industrialist Association, Peter Mitterbauer and Lorenz Fritz
respectively, and the vice-president of the Croatian Employers
Association presidency, Zlatko Novak.
According to the agreement, the two countries' associations should
cooperate on various issues of common interest, such as labour and
social issues, general economy issues, the exchange of information on
fundamental macro-economic indicators, and especially cooperation in
programmes for small and medium-sized enterprise, the organization of
round tables and conferences.
During today's talks, the delegations of the two associations
pointed out the good economic cooperation and commodity exchange between
Croatia and Austria. There existed numerous possibilities to expand such
cooperation, they said.
The delegations also agreed on cooperation between the regional
offices of the two associations.
