ZAGREB, 24 June (Hina) - The Croatian President Franjo Tudjman received
a message from the President of the Russian Federation, Boris Yeltsin,
with congratulations for his re-election as Croatia's President.
Yeltsin said he hoped that the bilateral relations and cooperation
between Croatia and Russia would continue to develop in the interest of
the two peoples, and in the interest of the stability in the region and
Europe, a statement from the President's office said.
President Tudjman also received letters of congratulations from the
Indian Premier Inder Kumar Guryal, Greek President Constantinos
Stephanopoulos, Bulgaria's President Petar Stoyanov, President of the
Bavarian Government, Edmund Stoiber, Pakistani President Farooq Ahmad
Khan Leghari.
The President continues receiving letters of congratulations from
citizens, artists, scientists, athletes, politicians and other public
figures, the statement said.
