ZAGREB, June 18 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Wednesday
received a letter from the Archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Franjo
Kuharic, with congratulations on his re-election as president.
"After the citizens of Croatia at free elections again entrusted
you with leading the Croatian State, I send you my best wishes for
successful performance of such a responsible duty.
"May Croatia really be built under your leadership and with sincere
cooperation of all citizens of good will, as a country of peace, a
country protecting the life of each human being, a country respecting
the dignity of each person, a country full of social justice.
"In that responsible service to the Croatian people and all
citizens of Croatia, I pray to God to grant you wisdom in decision-
making and resoluteness in defending freedom and righteousness as a
common good which involves every man, every family and the whole
nation," said the message released by the Presidential Office.
