DUBROVNIK, June 26 (Hina) - The third international conference on
economic and financial changes in transition countries continued in
Dubrovnik on Thursday.
On the second day, representatives of seven countries in transition
and experts of international financial institutions, including the
International Monetary Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development and the World Bank, discussed the experiences of Hungary,
Slovenia and Croatia.
Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Borislav Skegro said that Croatia
was ranked at the top of transition countries by standards of
macroeconomic stability.
It was estimated that this year Croatia would achieve high economic
growth and sustain a low inflation rate of three to five per cent,
Skegro said.
