VINKOVCI, March 26 (Hina) - A 30-member local election commission was appointed+
on
Wednesday after a two-day meeting of the joint implementation committee, UNTAES+
radio
in the Danube region of eastern Croatia said on Wednesday night.
The newly-elected members will be received by the UNTAES election officer and +
will
attend an inaugural session to decide where the commission will work and to +
make
preparations for the arrangement of polling stations and the work of polling +
committees in
the UN-administered region.
