The list of 12 best-selling books in Esperanto includes the
novel 'Tena-Dom u Srednjoj Europi' by Spomenka Stimac from Zagreb,
published in 1996 by Pro Esperanto from Vienna. The book is in the
ninth place of the list.
The Zagreb-based publishing house Izvori is in the second,
fourth and twelfth places with three editions of the comic
'Asteriks', translated into Esperanto by Nedjeljko Korasic.
The best-selling book of the year is an Esperanto translation
of the book 'U traženju savršenog jezika' by Umberto Ecco,
published by the Italian publishing company Edistudio from Pisa.
