ANKARA, Mar 23 (Hina) - Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic and
colleagues on Sunday afternoon arrived in Ankara for a several-day visit to
Turkey, on the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Ismail Kahraman.
Upon arrival, the Croatian delegation was received by Turkish Deputy
Culture Minister Cevdet Turkeroglu and Croatian Ambassador to Turkey Ivica
Tomic.
Turkeroglu assessed the visit as significant for the relations of the
two countries, especially in view of the signing of a programme of
scientific, educational and cultural exchange between the governments of
Croatia and Turkey for the next two years.
Biskupic expressed satisfaction about the signing of the programme,
adding that it would contribute to the cooperation of Croatian and Turkish
artists, scientists, cultural and public services workers.
Biskupic reiterated his invitation to Kahraman to attend this year's
summer festival in the south Croatian port of Dubrovnik.
