received the president of the International Commission for Missing Persons,
Cyrus Vance, a statement from the President's Office said. #L#
Vance informed Tudjman about Friday's meeting of the Commission, which
is to take place in Zagreb and which Croatian, Yugoslav and Bosnian
representatives are to attend.
Tudjman said it was exceptionally important for all sides to convey
information about persons who lived and that the truth about the killed ones
be told, so that their families would not be kept uncertain and that their
sorrow does not continue.
Tudjman expressed conviction that the process of peaceful
reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area would be completed successfully,
and regarding the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina, he reiterated that
Croatia supported a consistent implementation of the Washington and Dayton
agreements.
Present at the meeting was the President's Chief-of-Staff Hrvoje
Sarinic.
