SLUNJ, 20 March (Hina) - The tactical-demonstrative military exercise 'Slunj 97' was held on Thursday on the Croatian army exercise grounds in Slunj, some 90 km south of Zagreb.

exercise 'Slunj 97' was held on Thursday on the Croatian army
exercise grounds in Slunj, some 90 km south of Zagreb. #L#
The exercise was performed by members of the Croatian army
40th liaison regiment and members of the 4th generation of soldiers
conscripted in 1996, who have been camping in Slunj since Friday.
Offensive activities of liaison units and their activities in
offensive and defensive actions and positions were demonstrated in
the exercise.
Liaison units demonstrated excellent performance on difficult
terrain and in simulated war conditions.
