SUSAK SATISFIED WITH CROATIA'S PRESENTATION AT ABU DHABI EVENT

ABU DHABI, March 17 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Gojko Susak on Monday described as excellent, Croatia's presentation at the international military equipment exhibition in Abu Dhabi, IDEX 97. After touring the Croatian pavilion, Defence Minister Susak, said that until the last year Croatia had been under an embargo and had to import arms clandestinely, whereas nowadays Croatian military industry products were exhibited at the world biggest show of military equipment. "This means very much to me - to be the defence minister of a country that was in the war and has come out of the war with good results. Now, we are here with arms and equipment that do Croatia credit," minister Susak said. On Monday, Defence Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheik Sultan Bin Zayed, received his Croatian counterpart. "I have come to the exhibition, at his invitation, and I thanked him for giving us a pavilion at the noticeable site," Minister Susak said. Minister Susak is accompanied by his deputy, Lieutenant General Kresimir Cosic, a logistics assistant to the Minister, Major-General Vladimir Zagorac, the Defence Ministry's reorganisation department head , Major General Ivan Kapular, and the 'Croatia osiguranje' insurance company director, Suad Rizvanbegovic.
