LONDON, Mar 13 (Hina) - A Croatian economic delegation, headed by
Economy Minister Davor Stern, on Thursday afternoon completed their
visit to the United Kingdom.
Today the delegation visited the British Government's Capital
Investments Agency and held talks with British Foreign Minister
Nicholas Bonsor on the improvement of British-Croatian economic
relations at the British Foreign Ministry.
At the Association of British Industrialists, Stern discussed
actual and potential British investments in Croatia.
During the visit to Great Britain, the Croatian delegation was
acquainted with the Scottish model of the organization of the
electric power industry, suggested to the Croatian electric power
industry as an example to follow by the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development.
On Tuesday, Stern and British State Secretary for Trade and
Industry, Ian Lang, signed a Croatian-British Agreement on the
Stimulation and Protection of Investments.
