BOROVO NASELJE/VUKOVAR, Feb 28 (Hina) - Osijek Mayor Zlatko
Kramaric on Friday held talks in Borovo Naselje with UNTAES'
spokesman Phillip Arnold and representatives of local Serbs.
The talks focused on the forthcoming elections and the role of
the media in the electoral campaigns.
A meeting between representatives of political parties
from both sides should soon be arranged, Arnold said, adding
that UNTAES television and radio would be available to all
parties in the Croatian Danubian area.
Kramaric advocated that representatives of all parties
should be enabled to present their programmes in the Danubian
area. The local Serbs' request for a change in municipal
borders was unjustified, he added.
Kramaric also held talks with Transitional Administrator
Jacques Klein in Vukovar.
