ZAGREB, Feb 27 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Foreign Minister's Cabinet,
Ambassador Zoran Bosnjak, visited the Netherlands and Finland on February
25-27 as part of regular consultations between the foreign ministries, the
Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
In The Hague, Bosnjak met European Commission representative Hansjorg
Kretschmar and adviser to the Dutch Foreign Minister Mr d'Ansemborug to
inform them about the process of peaceful reintegration of UN-administered
eastern Croatia and preparations for holding elections in the region.
Both sides agreed that the results of recent talks between Croatian
and Yugoslav delegations in Belgrade made an important contribution to that
process.
The talks with Finish and Dutch officials confirmed the interest in
further promotion of bilateral relations and the importance of further
exchanges of views between the foreign ministries, the statement concluded.
