ZAGREB, Jan 28 (Hina) - Croatia's President Franjo Tudjman, on
Tuesday received Macedonia's Foreign Minister Ljubomir
Frckovski, the President's office said in a statement.
Minister Frckovski conveyed Macedonian President Kiro
Gligorov's best regards to President Tudjman, and notified him
of the current political and economic situation in Macedonia.
President Tudjman and Macedonian Foreign Minister agreed
that the cooperation between two countries was excellent and
that this fact as well as the forthcoming signing of several
agreements proved that good cooperation could be achieved
without imposed regional initiatives and associations.
Present at the meeting were Croatian President's chief-
of-staff, Hrvoje Sarinic, Croatian Foreign Minister Mate
Granic, Croatian Ambassador to Macedonia, Onesin Cvitan, and
President Tudjman's foreign affairs advisor, Zeljko Matic.
