ZAGREB, Jan 14 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic on
Tuesday received Richard Schifter, the US president's special
envoy for the Southeastern European Cooperative Initiative
(SECI).
Schifter informed Granic about the pace of activities in the
area of economic cooperation envisaged by the initiative, the
Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Granic said that Croatia, as a Central European country, was
primarily interested in Central European and Euro-Atlantic
integration processes.
As regards the SECI initiative, Croatia is willing to
cooperate on concrete economic projects, such as traffic and
infrastructure, which will be of interest to the country, Granic
stressed.
