BELGRADE, Jan 14 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian
Government's commission for detainees and missing persons,
Colonel Ivan Grujic described as positive Tuesday's meeting of
the working groups of the Croatian and Yugoslav commissions
for missing persons, in Belgrade.
Grujic told Croatian reporters that a positive move was
made in establishing the fate of missing persons, particularly
in the exchange of information about identified and
unidentified killed persons in the area of Vukovar (eastern
Croatia).
The Croatian side got 112 protocols about missing
persons, he said.
The Croatian side received assurances that the process of
searching for the missing persons would go on at speedier rate
than it used to be, he added.
It was agreed that international Red Cross officials
should make contact soon with 11 persons, for whom the
Yugoslav (fry) side admitted that they are in its area.
International Red Cross representatives should bring them in
Croatia in line with their wish.
The Yugoslav side is expected to exert pressure on
Bosnian Serbs so as to gain information about persons who went
missing in Bosnian area under Serb control, particularly in
the regions of Bosnian Posavina and Kupres.
