DUBROVNIK, Jan 7 (Hina) - An agreement on air traffic between
India and Croatia was initialled on Tuesday in Hotel Argentina
in Dubrovnik.
The treaty is expected to be signed and come into force
in spring 1997.
The agreement would contribute to establishing better
trade, economic as well as friendly relations between the two
countries, said the secretary of the Indian Ministry of Civil
Aviation, Anil Baijal.
An assistant to the Croatian Minister for air traffic,
Zvonimir Vedris said that such contacts had been creating
possibilities of investment of Indian capital into Croatian
economy.
The Indian air company Air India has showed interest in
broadening its traffic with central European countries and
thus in establishing air traffic to Croatia.
