VIENNA, Oct 13 (Hina) - Croatian Assistant Foreign Minister Zeljko
Kupresak held talks in Vienna on Tuesday with the Austrian
Assistant Foreign Minister, Gregor Woschnagg, on the promotion of
economic relations between the two countries, possibilities of
direct foreign investments in Croatia and Croatia's joining
European integration processes.
Kupresak also held talks with the Austrian national co-ordinator
for the Central European Initiative (CEI), Franz Irbinger, and with
Assistant Economy Minister, Josef Mayer.
Kupresak informed his hosts about the preparations for a prime
ministers' conference and the Economic Forum of the CEI which is to
take place in Zagreb in November, as well s about preparations for
the donors' conference on the reconstruction and development of
Croatia.
The Austrian side stressed its support to Croatia's efforts to join
European integration processes, and announced its participation on
both conferences.
