DUBROVNIK, Sept 30 (Hina) - A two-day international conference
which is to take place in the southern Croatian port of Dubrovnik
starting on October 1 will focus on the role of diplomacy in
countries in transition.
Organised by the Diplomatic Academy and the International Centre of
Croatian Universities in Dubrovnik, the conference will gather
about 70 experts from Central European Initiative (CEI) member-
countries, Great Britain, Germany, The Netherlands, France and
Belgium.
High-ranking Foreign Ministry officials of CEI member-countries
and eminent managers and professors dealing in diplomatic
education should discuss better connections, flow of information,
and the exchange of teachers, students and materials, it was said at
a Wednesday press conference in Dubrovnik.
The two-day conference should be opened by Croatian Foreign
Minister Mate Granic.
