KOTOR, Sept 30 (Hina) - During his impending second visit to Croatia
Pope John Paul II will receive the Montenegrin Catholic faithful
from Boka Kotorska and a special delegation of the Montenegrin
Bishops' Ordinariate headed by Kotor Bishop Ilija Janjic.
The Pope will receive the Montenegrin faithful in Croatia's port of
Split on October 4, Montenegro's independent news agency Montena-
fax reported on Wednesday quoting information from the Bishops'
Ordinariate.
During the Split reception, the Pope will bless a foundation stone
for a new Catholic church in the Montenegrin town of Tivat.
Montena-fax also reported that preparations for the arrival of 500
Montenegrin faithful to Split were completed.
The faithful will be able to cross the Croatian-Montenegrin border
in Debeli Brijeg by showing an identification document. The border
police will be supplied with a list of registered passengers.
