CRO AND YUG JOINT PROPERTY RIGHTS COMMITTEE HOLDS SESSION

( Editorial: --> 1200 ) ZAGREB, Sept 17 (Hina) - A joint Croatian and Yugoslav property rights commission held a session in Zagreb on Thursday, discussing the process of return of refugees and displaced persons and the property of legal subjects. The commission was established to implement Article 10 of the Agreement on the Normalisation of Relations signed by Croatia and Yugoslavia. The committee issued a statement after the meeting saying there was a positive trend in the process of return of refugees and displaced people to their homes, but the process had to be expedited. The Croatian government Agency for facilitating Real-estate Transactions and the Property Protection Service submitted reports about their work so far. and agreed on a modus of future cooperation. The property of legal persons is currently being registered in both countries. The Croatian side said the sale of properties of Yugoslav legal persons in Croatia have ceased. The next meeting of the joint commission will take place in Belgrade in the beginning of October, the commission said. (hina) lml 171920 MET sep 98
