ZAGREB, Sept 9 - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Wednesday
received the Ambassador of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hasan Muratovic.
Both expressed the wish that this month's elections in Bosnia-
Herzegovina take place in a democratic environment.
Tudjman and Muratovic agreed that, following the elections, an
agreement on special relations between Croatia and the Federation
of Bosnia-Herzegovina be finalised, and the status of the port of
Ploce and free passage through Neum be established.
A status should be established on Bosnia's use of the
Croatian port of Ploce on the southern Adriatic and free road access
for Croatia through the Bosnian resort town of Neum, which
separates Croatia's southernmost Dubrovnik region from the rest of
the country.
Economic relations between the two countries are on a continuous
rise, the President's Office said.
Tudjman and Muratovic expressed wish that further efforts should be
made aimed at a long-term and good cooperation.
Present at the meeting was also the Presidential Chief-of-Staff,
Hrvoje Sarinic.
