BAJAKOVO, Aug 25 (Hina) - A group of 35 Serb returnees who left
Croatia after the Flash and Storm liberation operations in 1995 on
Tuesday returned to Croatia from Yugoslavia across the Bajakovo
border crossing in eastern Croatia.
The returnees, mainly elderly, were welcomed in Bajakovo by the
head of the Vinkovci-based Office for Displaced Persons and
Refugees Ante Drmic.
Thirty-one returnees were from the list of persons granted return
to Croatia, two crossed the border with Croatian passports, while
two entered with other travel documents, said Drmic.
The returnees then travelled to Donji Lapac and Knin.
The next group of Serb returnees entering Croatia across Bajakovo
is scheduled for August 27.
