PRISTINA, July 29 (Hina) - At least 437 Albanians were killed and
almost 400 were either abducted or went missing in the past six
months, the Kosovo Human Rights and Freedoms Watch said in a report
on Wednesday.
Almost 300,000 Albanians left their homes, including 26,500 who
took refuge in Albania, 21,800 in Montenegro, 5,000 in Macedonia,
16,500 in western Europe and some 600 in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Material damage is estimated at more than DM1.7 billion, added the
report which will be forwarded to several international
institutions.
