MAIN EVENT OF INT FOLKLORE REVUE TAKES PLACE IN DOWNTOWN ZAGREB

( Editorial: --> 9876 ) ZAGREB, July 25 (Hina) - The central event of the 32nd International Folklore Revue was held on Zagreb's main square on Saturday evening. All participating folklore societies from Croatia, the Diaspora, Bosnia-Herzegovina and seven other countries briefly passed across Ban Jelacic square. The folklore societies come from all Croatian counties, Kupres, Livno and Ostra Luka-Bok in Bosnia, Croatian societies from Canada, and societies from the Czech Republic, France, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Portugal and Russia. A folklore society from Senegal could not attend the revue. The international revue opened on July 22 and closes tomorrow. Today's main event was opened by Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic and Croatian National Parliament vice president Vladimir Seks. (hina) ha 252137 MET jul 98
