ZADAR, July 19 (Hina) - Famous Croatian opera singer Krunoslav
Cigoj has announced that the "Cigoj" fraternity will organise five
concerts of spiritual music in the coastal city of Zadar and the
island of Ugljan during the next two weeks.
At a press conference held earlier this week in Zadar, Cigoj
emphasised that the tickets would be free and that the programme
would include works by Verdi, Puccini, Croatian composer Ivan Zajc,
Tchaikovsky and other famous composers and announced performances
by the Symphony Orchestra and the Academic Choir of the "Mikhail
Glinka" band from St Petersburg.
Cigoj also announced that he would open a new music and drama art
school which will prepare the graduate students of music academies
for their future work as artists.
