SARAJEVO, July 15 (Hina) - The Vice-President of the Federation of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Vladimir Soljic on Wednesday received the head
of the UN Mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Elizabeth Rehn.
The two officials discussed the completion of the reorganisation
process in the Herceg-Bosna and Western Herzegovina cantons and
measures to be taken with the aim of improving the security
situation in the Croat-Muslim Federation, Soljic's office said in a
statement.
Also discussed was cooperation in crime prevention between the
interior ministries of Bosnia's two entities.
There has been a stalemate in that field and it should be removed as
soon as possible with the help of the international community, it
was said.
Normal working conditions must be ensured for all candidates in the
forthcoming election campaigns and possible pressures and threats
have to be prevented, the two officials agreed.
