PRISTINA, July 9 (Hina) - The Yugoslav army on Thursday killed two
Albanians and wounded one while they were trying to smuggle large
amounts of arms from Albania into Yugoslavia.
The incident happened on Thursday morning near the watchtower Qafa
Prishit, south of Djakovica, on the Yugoslav-Albanian border, the
pro-government Media Centre from Pristina reported tonight, citing
Yugoslav army sources.
The same source said that the victims were Albanian nationals but
gave no details as to the amount of weapons or the victims' names.
There have been no reports on the incident either by Albanian
sources in Pristina or those in Tirana.
