MORIC TALKS ABOUT MURDER OF 2 CRO POLICEMEN ON CRO-YUG BORDER

( Editorial: --> 1903 ) VUKOVAR, June 17 (Hina) - Croatian Assistant Interior Minister Josko Moric Wednesday spoke to reporters in Vukovar about the murder of two Croatian policemen which took place on the Croatian- Yugoslav border two nights ago. Today the Yugoslav police should submit personal data on seven Yugoslav citizens who took part in the serious incident and issue a statement concerning Croatia's demand that the culprits be delivered to Croatia, Moric told reporters. He announced that today representatives of the Croatian and Yugoslav Interior Ministries should discuss further steps in shedding light on the case. They met in Apatin yesterday. The exchange of information to date has shown that seven Yugoslav citizens who took part in the incident are on Yugoslav territory, Moric said, adding two of the four wounded had been transferred to a hospital in Sombor, Yugoslavia, to be treated for potentially lethal wounds, while the other two are in detention. Croatia no longer intends to put the lives of its policemen into unnecessary danger, the Assistant Interior Minister said. "Yesterday we have changed the control of the Croatian border with (...) Yugoslavia, and I have informed the representative of the UN Secretary-General in (...)
