FIRST FRIENDSHIP CHARTER SIGNED BETWEEN CRO & AUSTRALIAN TOWNS

( Editorial: --> 5897 ) SPLIT, July 6 (Hina) - A Charter on Friendship between Split and Cockburn, a town in western Australia, was signed in Split on Monday. Cockburn's population numbers 70,000, of which 40,000, or 20 per cent, are Croats. The charter was signed by the mayors of the two towns, Split's Ivan Skaric and Cockburn's John Ivan Grljušić, who is visiting the southern Croatian port.
