OLUJIC REQUESTS CONTINUING DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE BEFORE JUDICIAL COUNCIL

COUNCIL ( Editorial: --> 5269 ) ZAGREB, July 2 (Hina) - In an open letter State Judicial Council (DSV) president Ante Potrebica, Marijan Svedrovic, attorney for Krunislav Olujic, requested that the disciplinary procedure against his client before the DSV continue urgently. Following a decision by the Constitutional Court annulling the DSV's decision on disciplinary responsibility of Krunislav Olujic, Olujic's case was returned to the DSV for a new procedure already in April this year, Svedrovic said. Referring to international standards of a fair trial, which include the principle of a speedy trial, Svedrovic requested that the DSV president immediately schedule the main hearing in the disciplinary proceedings against Olujic.
