ZAGREB, June 29 (Hina) - Chairwoman of the Council of Europe
Parliamentary Assembly Leni Fischer on Monday held talks with
Croatian Vice-Premier and European integration Minister Ljerka
Mintas-Hodak.
The idea developed by the Croatian government and Parliament on
expediting the process of return of refugees and displaced persons,
will help Croatia receive international aid at the donors'
conference, Fischer told a news conference after the talks.
She stressed she had not yet examined the details of the plan, but
she held that it was absolutely crucial to combine the plan of
return, the procedure for the return of persons who left Croatia and
the reconstruction plan.
Fischer is on a four-day visit to Croatia at the invitation of
Parliament President Vlatko Pavletic.
Mintas Hodak presented Fischer with the return plan and everything
Croatia did in the past period on the completion of the peaceful
reintegration, and on the return process.
Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and Foreign Minister Mate Granic
will also receive Fischer later in the day.
